jl or idq

im lookin for both but prob more toward sq but if one of the subs has more output but still sounds good on sq then i go for that one.

nowhere NEAR that big of a box for the idq... in fact i would not recommend it.

the w3 15 will not have nearly the same sq as the IDQ - but it will prolly get louder with more xmax ect. but the idq will sound better and only need like 1.5~2 cubes + port if you want to tune that low.

req is right about box size from what I remember, I would choose the IDQ myself,

Also reccomend the SoundSPlinter RL-p //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

is there an internet dealer that sells the IDQ/RLP. Ive searched a lot.. couldnt really find anything.

I was also thinking about getting the w6, and was told that the RLP and IDQ really rivals it.

the w3 15's had the world record for spl but then again most id subs sound awesome. I thought about a pair of w3v2 14's but I can't make up my mind. The w3v3 is coming out soon. Give those a look.

I actually had a JL 15W6 and switched to a 15 Rl-p. I used the same box, 2.75cft, tuned to 30hz, and it is a big improvement in spl and sq. I love the 15w6, but the rl-p gets much louder and retains great sq at higher volumes.

Also, while both get loud off of little power, the rl-p can take more power than the w6. I would say they both have about the same LFE, but the Rl-p seems to do it louder. I would say the rl-p is definitely worth the extra $.
