You won't get a warranty if you buy JL online ...

I'm sure you'll find a good deal on http://www.ebay.com or http://www.onlinecarstereo.com, there's a lot more unauthorized sites too.

but i looked on the onlinecarstereo site and i think they had 10w7's with a one year waranty. is the price any good?

It's a good price....but remember the warranty is from OnlineCarStereo, not JL. So if something were to go wrong, you'd have to meet their conditions, which are

OnlineCarStereo.com defines abuse as, but not limited to, burnt voice coils (blackened, no continuity, melted adhesives, coil separated from the former, etc.) punctured or damaged surrounds, broken speaker terminals, non-PPI modifications, bent, chipped or broken frames, ripped spiders or damaged back plates. Speakers submitted with any of the above will be considered out of warranty. Online Car Stereo shall not be held liable for incidental loss of use, installation or removal and reinstallation charges associated with defective or returned product. Products that have been improperly installed may not be covered by this or any other warranty. We highly recommend having all car stereo equipment professionally installed. All returns, exchanges and refunds are processed immediately upon receipt. Please allow 2 weeks from the time you return your item for your refund or exchange to arrive. If paid by credit card, please allow 2 billing cycles for your credit to appear on your statement.

And although I haven't dealt with them personally, I'm willing to bet that if you can't provide proof that it was "professionally" installed, then they won't cover it under warranty. Something to think about....

lol the glue should be under warranty jesus thats construction..they should say no warranty lol id get a brahma at least if you mack on it they will recone it for 90 or so and when something goes wrong they at least try to address it believe it or not that is the best kind of warranty

Best place to get JL at a price is Ebay, you can take my word on it. I've looked around and most other sites give you just below MSRP for JL products, because they are so hot. But a local dealer near my place just got picked up by JL, woooo!

Hi,

I bought the JL 1000-1 amp and the XR650-CX speakers from Onlinecarstereo.com. I got it after 3 days (free shipping) . about 6-7 month later my speakers blow up. I send them the speakers for repair (they come with 1 year Warranty) and 2 weeks later they send me a new set .

Since I had such a good experince with them I bought another JL speakers for my wifes car. again got them with UPS after 2-3 days, they are brand new and I am very happy.

I truly had a very good experince with onlinecarstereo.com

I would never by from Ebay.
