JL Audio ZR650-csi speakers...good for the $?

I am looking to spend about $450 on a set of speakers. I used to work for a JL Dealer so my boss still hooks me up with good prices...but i wanted to get your guys' opinion on if i can get something better for the price or not. any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I dont have a component amp yet...just getting some information together for my next build!

I like the way the C5650 sounds over the ZR, the C5 just will not get as loud as the ZR. IMO If you want something that I consider really close to the ZR at a much lower price point I would take a look at the C3. This is my opinion so if you can listen to both and compare them side by side do it.
