Jl audio w6 or w7

What would be louder and still sound great. My goal is to achieve great sq while still being loud and feeling the bass. I guess more of a SQL setup. I mostly listen to rap but wanna be able to hit every not and still sound good. Below are the options. If you have other recommendations let me know for sql subs

1 12" or 13.5" jl audio w7

2 12" jl audio w6

Both will be powered by a jl audio had 1200/1 and will the will be built to jl specs but maybe tuned slighty lower.

Or should I just go with 2 12" sundown audio sa off a sundown 1500d in a ported box that's 3.55 net volume tuned to 34hertz

SQL does not exist. It's either loud don't care or SQ. SQ is more than hitting every note.

what you want is install rather than equipment.

So it all depends in the install? So would going with the SA's be better since there cheaper and will get louder but the SQ wouldnt be as good as 2 12 w6 or 1 w7

Sound quality is install and tuning.

If you want SQ you give up output. If you output you give up SQ.

Hmm maybe if I show you a few videos on youtube youll know exactly what I'm after since I'm a noob. Check the videos out below and let me know out of 1 13" w7, 2 12" W6, and 2 12" SAs which will accomplish it the best but yet still sounding good.

You just want a typical bass head build. Get the SAs. The JL would be a waste here.

SQ is all about install and tuning as Los has stated above. From my understanding in a true SQ install the subwoofer is faded so that it blends in with the front speakers (it's not window flexing loud since the goal is to blend it into the front speakers giving you a smooth and real sound).

From the videos you posted your more into SPL. If you put a quality sub in a custom box it won't be a true SQ car but at the same time it won't sound like crap or be low quality (it would be above average SQ with high output, alot of people go this route).
