I've got a set of XR's and they are awesome and they will be as good if not better than anything else in the price range except for the 720prs. In terms of tweeter harshness, I think its bs. They get really really loud and play smooth and comfortable and never sharp and shrill. The midbass and midrange are very detailed and powerful. If you're going to spend that much then go for the Premier 720prs. They will shatter everything even remotely close to their price range.
