does anybody use JL anymore?? i havent really seen any threads on JL, seems like pple have migrated away from them. i personally love JL, the sound quality is amazing compared to what ihave heard(granted i havent heard everything).

true, but my cousin has a W2 in his car that he has had for like 5 years and it still hits like the day he bought it. idk, ive always like jl. they seem to never die unless you try to kill them or make a stupid mistake

Not saying they don't die. But for the price, better can be had. For the performance, cheaper can be found.

well, i havent blown a speaker in a long time(not counting the factory midbass speakers in the doors. those went pop but i beat on those before i got a sub). what other companies make better subs for cheaper?

i still have a 13w7...sounds good, and gets decently loud, but better can be found for cheaper for sure

The easy answer is that other companies provide way more bang for the buck. You can get 2 Kicker Cvx 12's for the same price as 2 12w3v3's or 2 Alpine Type X 12's for cheaper than 2 12w6v2's. Those are just a few. All of my subs last just as long as any JL. I'm not against JL. I just built a ported box for a 12w7 for my girl's car. JL is still overpriced.

JL is worth the money. Only problem on this forum is everyone for the most part is:

1) cheap and refuses to pay MSRP ever

2) into SPL and JL drivers aren't really geared toward SPL compared to alot of other drivers out these days

im a SQ guy, i guess thats why i like JL so much... i paid 90 for the W0V2 and i was the first person in my county to have one. im still the only person in the county that has one...
