jl audio c5 problem

hi there i have jl c5 speakers, the problem that i have is they wont power up. i was driving down the road and they randomly stopped working. i have checked the amp channel, anything that might be grounded and also bought a new deck. Still nothing any ideas what it might be please help thanks

pluse the speaker wire with a 9 volt battery and listen for a pop..
