I just got a JL Audio A1800 amp from my buddy who barely used it, it works realll good the only problem is sometimes the subs will cut out and they will play no bass but then 25-45sec later they will start bumping again. i tried different freq etc, nothing worked,

-I think i found the problem tho theres a "input sens" screw on the amp and when the subs cut out if i just push down or to the left or right on the screw the subs will work.

-has anybody had this problem with theres, how can i fix this, i called JL and they gave me the run around "well uhh yeah yah see" answer

I'm having pretty much the same problem. I'm gonna see what the car audio guy says tomorrow. The manual said it could be a loose connection, and I'm not too confident that mine is grounded properly. I'll let you know what they tell me.

I have a doa e1800 they cannot be dropped past 2ohm, the driver card goes out. JL audio has a flat rate repair or you could try zed audio or other repair centers.
