Anything better than this for the money?

I got $100 to spend on an amp to power one Pioneer TS-W255C 10" 4-ohm Component Subwoofer at Crutchfield.com After a bit a research I found that crunch has hifonics guts now and I've settled on Crunch GPV 1100.2 2-Channel Amplifier 1100W Car Amp NEW | eBay Any other suggestions?

crunch may have hifonics guts but unless your talkin about the GP3000 pro the rest don't do what they are rated to do. your better off getting another amp that won't let you down

If you are on a tight budget get audiopipe amps. and there are all kinds of sub companies out there. STAY AWAY FROM CRUTCHFIELD if you wanna get decent stuff for a good price.

OP don't look into crunch unless its the older GP series, not the GPV

^^^I bet a dollar that no one in this thread has ever used any Crunch stuff, old or new

IMO Crunch is not bad, then again I've never used their stuff myself but I know the Ground Pounder subs(the ones with lighted LEDs in the dustcap) can take a ton of abuse and won't quit, it was one of the best dollar-per-bass sub out there.

That GPV amp OP posted has 60a worth of fuses so it should have at least some guts and balls around the 400~500 watts RMS area. I would say buy it and let us know how it works out.

used some of the drive series amps from about 10 years ago. had the blue analog output meters. werent terrible but they were not very special either.

lol at the guy trying to sell his stuff. Ya's scared me away from crunch, so I just bought a hifonics, loved them in the past, they were quite solid and did their power for the most part. And I would never ever buy from crutchfield lol.

Im not sure weather or not I should laugh. Companies do over fuse as well so people like you think they got a deal on an amp that does rated.
