I got a Jl Audio 500/1 and 2 MTX 12" 5500 the the MTX's are rated at 300 rms

(watts) and the amp is pushing 500 rms so with the pair of the MTX's on the 500/1 I shouldnt have any problems right..like the amp giving off to much power blowing the subs or the amp not giving off enough power and frying I would appreciate some suggestions..Im running it on 4 awg power wire..havent decided if I am going to get a cap yet or not?

I have a pair of MTX 12" 5500 now ive had that in both a 1990 toyota celica and 1998 chevt malibu pounds hard in both especially with the EQ set to rock and loud set to on..but I order two more MTX's so I would have one in each car so I thought id get the 500/1 this time see how that sounds. Im running a 4 gauge power wire. But any links on how to set up a sencond battery? would be alot of help. I was planning on doing that tho untill I got a total of the 4 MTX 12" 5500 and two 500/1 I was thinking about running 2 off of each amp..some ear drum poppin stuff lol. all and all I think it is definatley worth it now that I order my stuff online I got chrage out the ahole going to tweeter for the orginal plus the pain of them not knowing squat about car audio..had so many problems like blew my alternator..fryed amps so much tweeter not getting a good recomandation from me..

ALSO any1 know any sites that custom make bass forms?
