JL Audio 500/1 vs JBL GTO 600.1

I have a 12'' JL W6 and now need an amp. I can't decide between the JL 500/1 amp and the JBL GTO 600.1 amp. I did have a JBL amp with 2 12" IDQ subs and it sounded great but, my car stripped of EVERYTHING (not just stereo equipment) so I have none of that now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/pissed.gif.9f665f96bc89e98e708dabd4580bb591.gif I liked the JBL 600.1 I had, but I can't find that amp for sale anywhere now. I have also heard that JL subs sound the best with JL amps, but im not sure if that is true. Can anyone give me any suggestions on these amps? Thanks.

if you gonna keep the system for long time get jl just for the clean look.
