Jl audio 300/4 or 300/2

Whats the difference? 300/2 Just good for 1 pair of components? Or can you run 2 pairs in the front and back. Or Do you have to have a 300/4 . I have a 12w7 1000/1 and a pair of JL Audio ZR650-CSi 6-1/2" should I go with the /2 or /4 .Thank guys !

get the 2 channel, no difference in output but some amps give cleaner output not being bridged.

you can run a 300/2 but you will not have the control you would want. 300/4 is you best bet.

the crossover network is the same

the only thing to be gained is if he decided to run active. plus the 300/2 is cheaper

If he's running front and back speakers the 4-channel will allow him to use the fader.

The 4 ch will give you the option to fade. The 300/4 is the better choice for 2 sets of comps.
