JL Audio 18w3 tuning frequency

Hello, I am in the process of making a ported enclosure for my 18w3. My enclosure size is 4.75 cubic ft. which is a little larger than JL Audio's recommended enclosure size of 4.5 cubic ft. I am getting to the stage where I am calculating the port size. I was wondering if someone could direct me with telling me what a good tuning frequency is for my speaker to enable it to have the highest SPL. I know SPL and loudness are not the same thing, but I would also like my speaker to hit it's loudest potential, since this will also be used in small competetions. My enclosure is a wedge shape with 3 sides made of MDF and one side fiberglass if that makes any difference. Thank you for your Help.
