They are awesome subs. I have heard them at a couple different occasions and loved them.

What coil config are the epic 8's? How do they do in a small ported enclosure. Always heard nothing but good things about them. I an really interested in them.

They are D2 an the last couple times I have heard them they were in TINY sealed enclosures around .25 cubes each. The vented enclosures I heard were in the 1 cubic foot range and they did quite well in them, played very low without any stress. They will take some power for an 8'' sub too. Only trades I am looking for is 1/0 OFC wire and a single or 1.5 DIN head unit that's active capable.
