JL Audio 12W3v3-2 sub - can i use my current amp or use JL Audio amps?

i got this 12" jl audio sub. its a w3-v3 single 2ohm. its 300 rms. i got the 2005 model rockford fosgate punch mono amp. its rated at 400 rms at 2ohm. will this amp be good to use or should i use a JL amp? if so what model JL Audio amp should i use?

The rockford will be fine, the dub 3 will be able to handle that.
