Jl audio 12w3v2 how much power is need

I got a box built from srq coustom for a 12w3v2 with a Phoenix gold 800.5 and it sound super weak do you think more power is needed or the box is no go the amp is 300 rms at 2 ohms on bass but it's sounds like nothin I am using a factory radio with PAC hi lows but still someone help me plz
