idk if any of you guys have bought from dealer cost.

but let me tell you it sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its a fake pretty much. i found this and found an awesome deal on a wedge box with w3's that i wanted so bad but couldnt afford anywhere else.

so i went on dealer cost and they matched and lowered a price for me after i told them! wow i was impressed. i saw their "cnet" rating and idk if you guys know what cnet is, but its some tech website and as part of their site theyl rate online stores.. well they had a "rating pending". its been over 1 year since i bought from them and they have yet to get a rating, they claim it takes 30 days to get a rating.

well i thought "maybe their on their rating period right now" so i went ahead and bought my w3 wedge box. ..boy was i happy.free shipping and no tax they even offered me. i decided to pay via paypal to be on the safe side. they said theyd send me a paypal bill and they never did, but i completely forgot i hadnt paid them, so i kept calling and calling to get status about my order and why i hadnt gotten any tracking number or anything confirming my order.. every time i called it was "were going to ship immediately" or "were having trouble getting the item from jl audio". first of all we all know jl doesnt sell to just anyone, and second of all they claimed they had it in stock to begin with... wow. ****ing gay! so after 2 weeks i cancelled the order. by then i finally remembered taht it was a very good thing i hadnt paid anything.

let me tell you... 10 months later i get a ups tracking number from them!!!!!!!!!

wow. i was shocked and confused. not only did it take 10 months for me to get any confirmation, but also i didnt pay for shit, so why would i have anything coming to my address? thought i wouldnt get anything.. well 3 days later i got a jl wedge box! hahaha wtf!? i figured dealer cost might catch on and call me or something. surprisingly they never did.

so i got a 500 wedge box with w3's for free.

****ers.. thats what they get! read plenty of stories about their site and how they do taht constantly.. they rip people off or they wait months til they somehow get leftover items from other places and THEN theyl ship, but they take ur money right away, of course.

you are correct they still owe me for 3 pioneer decks from over 12 months ago, i got my bank to refund all of it and they are suing them as we speak i have a thread on CARSTEREO.com about how shady they really are. i looked it all up and found some ip info ect, same company 3 times at the same nowhere address ( the address shows them in the middle of a road with no buildings around anywhere lolz ) and they have been there several yrs with many names and the same listed owners names.

yup they are indo audio or whatever. thats their name on ebay.

they are horrible. i read about some people having good expereince, but idk if thats the same shitty company giving itself good reviews, or actual customers.

just dont deal with them. i got lucky in my end, but otherwise id be out 500 bucks.

i think they might be okay for small products... like a paperclip or something

yeah i hope you guys actually get them sued and it goes through.. seriously.

ive read way too many bad things, and id never deal with them again.

there should be something done so that they can get out of business for good

i have had what seems like the same experience with this company as many others have had... took them about a month to even talk to me on the phone about why my order hasn't been shipped. Then when i go and cancel my order they take another month or so, i am out 156$ for my pioneer premier ts-w3001D4 for the time being, so after 2 months or so i decided to do some digging and found this from the BBB (better business bureau) http://www.la.bbb.org/Business-Report/Dealer-Cost-Car-Audio-100072683

pretty much a long story short.... I will be remembering to check with the BBB before i make any purchases online.

OH yea and after i filed 3 complaints with the BBB and 2 with my bank i received my 156$ dollar refund. so they got interest off of my money for 3 months worth! may not be much but hey.... they don't deserve shit!
