jl audio 1000 v2 and 2 kicker l7 12s?

just wondering if anybody had any ideas on whether or not these would be a good match because i already have the amp and dont want to break the bank on jl subs and i was thinkin the dual 2ohm voice coils

I'm pretty sure that 500 watts apiece is not enough for those.

I'd go with these. They're cheap, but they're badass. They'll easily take 500 apiece and more.

yea they would be nice for awhile but i would blow them pretty quick with that amp it is a jl slash series 1000.1 v2

Umm, that amp will only put out 1000 watts, so each sub will be seeing 500.

The JL amp will put out 1000 watts at 1-4 ohms, the subs would wire up to be either 1 or 4 ohms, so if you wired two to that amp, what's 1000 divided by two?

Actually the amp is only stable down to 1.5 ohms, they like to go into protect below that but yeah, get L5's..
