JL Audi 250/1 and 250/1v2 Differences

Hello,
Does any one know the differences between the /1 and the /1v2? I am debating if it is worth the extra $100 for the v2 to power a 12" JL Audio W3 driver.

Thanks!

The Heat sinks have been redone. The Slash v/2 amps dissapate 50% more heat than the originals. (Not that the originals had a heat problem. They already were very thermally efficient. These are more so.)

Also, the outer casing is of a new design and "stackable" should you want to do that instead of conjoining them at the end caps.

Other than that they contain all the features of the originals, including the R.I.P.S.

I wouldn't spend the extra $100 for 50% less heat. The 250/1 that I had barely even got warm. And by warm I mean almost cold. One of the best on heat dissipation I have ever seen.
True. If you can get a v1 and it's in good working condition, go right ahead. I too had some v1's (500/1 and a 300/4) and they almost never got remotely warm. Only after my road trip where I had the volume up most the way did they get even remotely warm, and by that I mean they were about room temp. Not hot at all.

I'm getting the v2's cuz I got rid of my old ones following my accident and I want all new stuff and for everything to be covered by warranty should anything happen.
