jl amp can anyone fix it?

like the title says i have an older jl slash series 300/4 the v1 and it has a blown channel so i believe can anyone fix it? it's not underwarrenty and i don't really beleive its blown but what else can make one channel suddenly become weak maybe a bad audio cable? anyway is there anyone i can send it to to get it fixed?

JL Audio offers flat rate repair service on their amplifiers, regardless of where they were purchased. Call them up and see if they will RMA it for you! Heck, get a price from them while you are on the phone too.

Check yours RCAs, and get a DMM and check your voltage. Also try a different pair of RCAs. If not it's gonna be expensive to repair that amp...

Are you sure about it being expensive? I know someone who sent in a fried 500/5 two years ago to JL Audio and it was $225 (or was that $250) to have the board replaced. Not bad considering the amp was given to him by the person who fried it.

ETA: I guess this policy could have changed, but the repairs offered by JL Audio used to be reasonable.

i haven't checked it yet really i just go the amp and i have no power wire in my truck to hook it up to but in the other truck it was hooked up to it sounded pretty **** good to me for pushing a pair of ten on two channels unbridged but the guy i got it from swears it used to hit harded but i think its bullsh*t and he didn't know what he was doing i even opened it up for a look and it had no burn spot but anyway. i thought jl didn't repair amps unless they were under warrenty or maybe it was that they don't sell recone anyway i appreciate the replies
