JL 500/1 sound cuts out randomly

Ok I went to remove the cap but I decided to test it first. First I made sure all wiring was secure. Second, while playing the voltage is around 14v, drops a bit lower on high bass notes but never lower than 11v. Ground I checked its secure but theres a lot of sand-like dust or debris around my grounding point, not sure what that is. While I was testing the system I didn't turn off. It only did when I provoked it by putting the vol really loud and clipping it. At that time the sound cut off but the voltage stayed at 14v. The fuse at the front is perfect too. The voltage on the cap while playing hovered around 12-14v as well. So I decided not to take out the cap for now. If I notice the problem again then I will. But HOPEFULLY it was just a loose connection or something small. Weird.

I removed the cap and WOW. The voltage stays at 13-14v even on heavy bass notes. ****, we will see if I still get the problem of sound cutting off but it seems that the cap was the culprit.
