JL 500\1 or Hifonics BXi 1608D

I trying to decide weather to buy the JL audio for $120 are the Hifonics for $218. Im just puttin them on some 500 watt 250 rms kicker comps in a ported probox. Im going to be running them parallel for a 4ohm load. I know they are good brands but i would like to know if any one has had any prolems with one

He meant "Comps" as the model of the subs, not components.

Plus "parallel for 4 ohms" is a good clue.

Definitely get the JL at that price! If you change your mind later you could easily sell that at a profit. They usually go for about $250 on craigslist.
