i just hooked the amplifier up, and it comes on and everything, but i dont have a subwoofer to hook it up. i originally traded this amp for a memphis 1000d. when it left i -know- it was working cause i had just hooked it up. but me being a nice guy n all i traded him back when he called me and said it wasnt working.
before it was returned he said he took it to the local audio shop in which they hooked it up. they told me that it works for approximately 30 seconds, then no sound is produced. the amplifier stays on (power) but no sound is produced. the guy and the audio shop said the amplifier was doing that
so my question is..... is there a way to fix it??? can anybody on this forum do it without charging me an arm and a leg??? or am i going to have to send it back to JL audio??? anybody know exactly what went wrong???
i'm pretty sure its not the RCA cords either, cause they used several different cars that all produced the same results. anyone??
