60 amp inline fuse

14.2v at the amp

So today I decided to test exactly how loud my set up can go and I blew a 60 amp fuse. I turned it up well above my maximum listening level. It was surprisingly clean and clear sounding with no distortion and crazy loud.

My question is should I go bigger then a 60 amp fuse or should I not turn it up loud enough to blow the fuse? JL says to use a 50 amp fuse with this amp. This is my fist time actually using an inline fuse so I dont really know alot about them.

I looked in the sticky's and didnt see any threads about fuse's. If I missed it please let me know. Any and all info you can give me on the subject would be greatly appreciated.
