jl 450/4 channel 1 and 2 issue

I have a 450/4 that I have noticed is giving me two different outputs for channel 1 and channel 2. Meaning my passenger side focals are louder than my drivers side focals. This was not the case when I installed these 3 years ago. How can I tell if I have a problem with my amp? When I switch the wires over the output issue switches also, so I ruled out a wiring issue or speaker issue.

Can I check this with a digital multimeter?

Any other thoughts?

Did you switch the polaritys on accident

I checked also, no dice.

I find it hard to believe that my amp is going bad...
