JL 12w3v3 Box Volume Help

Hello, I plan on building a new box for my 2 JL 12w3v3's. JL suggests 1.75ft^3 @ 30Hz, making it 3.5ft^3 due to being 2 drivers, but after putting in the parameters into winisdpro it seems like the jl rec. size is too small and kills the low-end extension. To me, it looks like changing the JL suggested 3.5ft^3 @ 30Hz to 7ft^3 @ 33Hz will provide way more low end extension and would make a much better SQL box than the box JL recommends.

Does this make sense?

But perhaps JL is giving a box designed purely for SQ and disregarding output SQL/SPL? I'm going to go ahead and shoot them an e-mail. It just seems so small of a box, and I have room in my Jeep Cherokee for a pretty large box.
