JL 1000/1 Amp

Hi Everyone,

I just picked up a new JL 1000/1 amp, Can someone point me in the right direction as far as setup of this amp goes? This amp has way more settings than i'm use to.

So let's start with the Amplifier Input Selection. Should I have this set to Low or High? My Alpine 9835 deck outputs 4v for the RCA cables which would fall under high right?

here there is a tutoral straight from JL how to set the input sensitivity. click the 2nd link there that says input sensitivity setting

It would fall under low. JL's site has some excellent tutorials that'll walk you through all the different settings

Since I have an Alpine 9835 with a built in crossover, should I let my headunit do all of the processing and leave the cross over settings alone/max on the amp?
