Jensen Car1000 stuck on initial logo screen

The unit is only a couple of years old. I have tried sticking a toothpick into the tiny hole to reset, I unhooked the battery for 15 minutes. Still nothing. However the other day it did get past the logo screen and it worked but not well. I couldn't get my phone to connect and the volume was super low. But that was just once in the past 3 months. I have it in a piece of junk 2007 Explorer and the engine has a bad wiring harness. Would the engine wiring harness potentially be the issue with the stereo. Any trouble shoot tips and advice is appreciated.

No. Unfortunately, this seems to be a common issue with the Jensen Car1000. I have one that is less than a year old that gets stuck some days. I have to restart it to get it unfroze. I can only assume, its going to get worse as it gets older.
