Tread lightly here. Never compare a mangy yardbird to the holy swine! Ever tried turkey bacon? That bird is acceptable for 1 meal a year at best and deserves no further intrigue. It's merely a novelty passed on from poorer times. The only "good" turkey...is none! Now pigs is fuckin tasty!

Now see, you got me all wrong. The first candidate for America's (Murica') official bird was indeed the humble turkey. It is leagues above a Ham in flavor, moistness, and texture. But I am comparing a turkey to a ham. Now, when it comes to bacon, shoulder, or ribs, the turkey loses hands down. No contest.
