jeep wrangler bass blues

Hi everyone,

Need some help deciding how to get the best bass in my jeep wrangler soft-top, would like to keep the rear seat. Would I be better off down firing two 10s at the floor or front firing two 12s at the back of the seat, I run most of the summer months with just a saffari top and no doors. The rest of the system is an Alpine CDA 9883 head unit, an Alpine 3566 amp for mids and highs. I have an insignia amp and two 12s that I picked up real cheap at best buy, I was in there picking up some speaker wire and they had an overstock sale for $39.99 + $14.99 for there 4 year warrenty. I listen to everything Rock & Roll from 1970s to current.

I had 2 10's in a box firing towards the rear seat (folded down while playing) Sounded pretty nice.

Buddy has a custom console with a downfiring 12... From the ***** eye you wouldn't ever know it was an enclosure... sounds decent, not sure of woofer brand/type as I've never seen it, but not much volume of an enclosure... look for an Image Dynamics 12 or some other woofer that doesn't need much air space (ie. Dayton HO)

mmmmm Image Dynamics. I have 4 IDv3 8's I was going to fire upwards in a sealed enclosure in my Wrangler, but I never got around to it. Still have them sitting around.

[Kold_Killa/B], anyway to get some pics, that sounds awesome. some of the guys on the Jeep forums i'm a member of would probably like to see this. as everyone bass is hard to come by in a Wrangler, unless you remove the back seat or use most or all of the trunk space.
