So which brand do you think is better?

I can either get the GTO1204BP-D which are 2 12" subs in a preloaded enclosure with the power handling of 600RMS powered by a GTO601.1 amp or a SWR-1222D sub with the power handling of 500RMS powered by a MRP-M650 amp or a SWR-1522D sub with the power handling 750RMS powered by a MRP-M850 amp

I know the choise is pretty obvious when you just look at the numbers but i wanted to your personal experiences with these products, what you recommend, what you dont recommend.

THe 15 inch type R would be my choice

Type R's are great for the money and there are not many subs that can do what they can in the same price range. I've had two 10's and did a 143.6 (at 38 hz) in the kick with 1000w and a low tuned box. Get 2 12's or 1 15 and 1000+w in a proper box.

Subs do not produce power BTW and 12'=12ft. Not trying to be a smartass, but just makes you look a little smarter

Well, there is the PDX-1.1000 amp, it gives 1000W, but wouldn't i be over-powering the sub like that? Plus it's twice the price of the MRP-M850 amp which gives 800W, what do you guys reckon?
