Feeler: These are some awesome 6x9s that will take 150 watts rms and beg for more. The mid and tweeter are suspended from the frame(braxial) and it is BI-AMPABLE.

Here is a link to the actual speakers.

These have a reputation as some of the best 6x9's available on the major market. I had these in my Honda Accord and haven't needed them in my new car. Were used for about 1 year powered by a JL 300/2. It is in perfect condtion. I might even have the original box around somewhere.

I am thinking around $100, these are mint, and they sound amazing.

Hit me up with some offers guys.

Colin

I had a pair of JBL T545s that looked almost identical to these 595s excepting the cosmetics on the magnet cover. IIRC they were rated for only 100w RMS as opposed to the 150 these 595s are rated for. The older version I had were bi-ampable as well provided you clipped the jumper on the inputs to separate them. For a paper-coned, foam surround (old-school) speaker they sounded bloody outstanding.

If these updated ones sound half as good as the ones from yesteryear then the $100 that is being asked (IIRC the 545s went for like $249/pair, retail, back in '89 or '90) is a bargain.

Bump for some great ByNines.

thanks nick...

Prowler- these are the updated versions of the 545's IIRC, and yes they do sound outstanding!!! They employ the same jumper as you were mentioning, i didn't cut the jumper though. I ran them off my 300/2 and they took the power very well. Probably could have taken more i am sure. The 595's go for $299(on sale from $375) on Cardomain. I got these at a local shop here in Mobile last year(2004). Also how do you like the Kenwood h/u? I have heard great things about it. I had a Kenwood excelon(top of the line at the time) a few years ago and i loved it.

Any ?'s pm me or post

Glad to hear that my eyes (and my memory) weren't playing tricks on me looking at the product page there on CarDomain. Truly if I had a use for any ByNines in the forseeable future I'd snag these myself! Best of luck to you getting them sold.

I like the XXV-01D juuuuust fine, thanks for asking. I've used Kenwood forever (seemingly now) and have been using nothing but eXcelons for awhile. My first was a KDC-X569 which I upgraded in April of '04 to a KDC-X679. I ran that until this past Christmas Eve when the friendly UPS-man was kind enough to bring my 25th Anniversary-edition unit to me. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
