ok i know that before i really start bumpin that i should break it in. so i got some speaker wire i found laying around and hooked the sub up free air to my Sharp stereo at home. i hooked it into the sub connection so it only receives the low end stuff and its getting about 30 watts. do you think playing some bassy music on this low amount of power would be a good idea to break in my sub?

30 Watts?

y cant u just hook your car audio amp up inside your home, and run it thru that for a powerful break in? i wouldn't use 30W from a home strereo reciever to break in my subs

i wasnt sure if that would be too hard on it. ive never bothered breaking in a sub before so i wasnt sure how much power it would need.

how do you hook up a car audio amp in your house?? that i just don't follow nor know how to do but would like to know how so i cna break in my DD's inside my house. i have a 500watt blaupunkt amp that will break them in nicely so i need to know how to hook it up. thank you in advance.
