JBL makes an all around decent product. I don't think their stuff is mind blowing, but I don't think they are crap either. You might call them a safe bet.
They are very nice subs for the money. They can handle way more then their rms (very conservative). The best price Ive seen on them is at http://www.justwoofers.com They just has a big sale on the 10" power series for under $100 ea. I dont know if that is still going on.
