im nearly able to put all my sound bizznass in now! i just need an amp. i got one rehc 12 1200w@2ohms. i was looking at the jbl 1200 but the problm is that ive got a ported box. is there somewhere i can get an ssf? cause i dont wanna kill my sub. how much do ssfs cost? or should i just go with the hifonics amp with an ssf? or is there another sub thats below $300 that'll give me around 1000wrms? and none of those crappy amps that say there giving me 1000w but are really giving me like 200w plz.

you can get a ssf at partsexpress.com that just plugs inline with your RCA cables going to your amp

not if you are looking to put them inline to your sub. Those are bass blockers. They are cutting low frequency. You are looking for a subsonic filter (SSF). I would buy the Hifonics. I have a BX500D, and love it. It is really good, FOR THE MONEY.

Go there and look at the FMOD CROSSOVER PAIR 30 Hz HIGH PASS you want these to block anything below 30hz

yes same exact thing just make sure you get the 30Hz high pass filters. Not low pass.
