Jbl ms8 or Hertz MLK?

I'm currently running HSK 165 and it seems like the sound can be improved. I was wondering if the setup would benefit more if I add in an MS8 or upgrade my speakers to the MLKs. Current setup: Dnx 9140, Mac amps, HSK 165, no rear, IDmax 12 (IB setup)- also thinking about switching out the IDmax for a JBL gti......... any opinions/inputs?

I started running my HSKs active and swapped out the tweeters to the 28s. Huge difference. They can take some power and sound clean useing it

Optimize your install first, then if it doesn't sound good enough consider upgrading.
