How are they? Would a 300 power an idq10 well in a sq setup? I have a chance to pick one up cheap and it seems like a very solid amp, I was planning on buying something newer and more high end to match my arc 4 channel, but I cant pass this one up.

Well I ended up buying it, its in great shape and seems to be a very solid amp. For $75 I couldnt pass it up. I'll see how it does with my idq.

Do you mean the CS300.1? I haven't seen any birth certificates, but if they're anything like the GTO I'd bet they do a bit above advertised.

I remember that amp from the early 90's. That whole series was very good for their time.

Thats what I remembered also, I post back on how it does when it gets here. Either way for what I payed for it it should work quite nicely.

Got the amp today and its a really solid amp- made in the usa, rated at 12v, nice set screw terminals, nice heavy metal chassis, runs cool. I only had it powered up for a little while to make sure it works but it does very nicely. The build quality is also almost on par with my arc amp in my opinion.

edit: if anybody wants i can get pics of the guts.

I have a gts600 and is one great amp... it never gets hot and it is very underrated

How did you wire your power? In the manual it says that mine requires an 8 gauge feed but there is no way that the knu 8 that I have will fit in there, its way too big. I tried some 10 that I had lying around and that fit perfectly, very tight.

Find a way to fit the 8 gauge in there... those amps are power hungry. i am using 2 gauge cause the inputs of my amp are big enough for it.

With 4 gauge mine would be just fine but the bigger the better IMO.
