JBL GTO8607C Vs. JL Audio XR570CSI

I've heard and read mixed reviews of both these component systems.

I was wondering if anyone has either of them in their ride.

I found the JL comp set for about $200 shipped and the JBL comp set for $122 shipped.

They seem to be similar. Of course I like the budget minded $122 for the JBL set better but if the difference in sound quality were large I would spend the extra for the JLs.

If you have a better suggestion please leave it!!

I'm thinking the JL Audio are a much higher end/ quality product are they not?

How about this question;

Is it worth the money to use a 6.5 mid base and a ABS/MDF plate instead of the stock 5x7 size?

Is there an advantage to the round shape vs. oval?
