are they really worth the money for a 800W RMS woofer? saw them on sonix for like $600
That was me selling my 15" GTI and it's already sold. I now plan on using 2 10GTI's.Someone on here has one for sell for 200 shipped. I heard they were REALLY underrated.

never thought JBL made a quality woofer to be perfectly honest, but i've never heard one... just hear-sayThat was me selling my 15" GTI and it's already sold. I now plan on using 2 10GTI's.
I have used many other subs lately and I just keep coming back to the JBL GTI's. They sound great and can take a lot of power. Used these are some of the best bargains around.......And nobody is paying $600 for these subs. Brand new they go for around $300. Used anywhere from $175-$225.....Which makes them bargains.
Yes, both subwoofers have patented technology to offer a lot of excursion, reduce distortion, and handle a lot of power while delivering the goods on sound quality. They both have the surround attached to the basket vertically instead of the usual horizontal lip glued down, for example. There was a good thread about this on DIYMA recently.wow, really? Huh, I never woulda guessed.
not sarcasm, by the way. lol
100% agree with you. Ran mine temporarily on 200 watts and it sounded great and had plenty of output. Also ran higher power to them with awesome results. Going to be running a pair of these sealed very soon with a possible IB install with them in the future.I've owned a few. If you get them for 200 or so, I think it is a great deal. They sound VERY good at high excursion and take a lot of power, yet get loud on very little power.
