Jbl gti subs be good enough for sq competitions?

I am running Jbl w12gti subs and want to know are these subs good enough to win sq competitions? I want to be first of course i know subs arent everything its the install also just wanting to make sure these are good because everyone says there sq/spl subs.

Really didnt know that because one car audio shop says there good sq subs with high output and another shop says there not sq at all lol.

for spl though..

he has a woofer stashed in the dash he uses for sq.. unless he changed.

well i dont have the subs anymore cause they got blown so i am waiting for new ones but everything else is in there. I can take some pics today after i get off work what do you want pics of my custom painted amps?

sound quality is great on mine, and that guy who has the regal, has a w10gti in the kick pannel.

i thought they sounded good before i blew them the first time but i did not like them in a sealed box i like long bass notes. not short and tight which is why maybe i didnt like it at first. sad thing is i will being using the sealed box till my new ported box is done in march.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

In Biggs system, the sub in the dash for the SQ portion of the comp is a JBL also. If it's crossed as low as it should be, the subs are an almost negligible portion of the sound and just about any sub will do. It really only needs to get really low to score well. There's not a lot of definition to worry about with the crossover set in the 40-50 hz range.
