Jbl Gt4-15

A friend of mine just purchased one of the JBL GT4-15 subs ( http://international.jbl.com/car/product.asp?prod=GT4%2D15%2F230&ser=GTO&cat=SUB&type=&language=ENGLISH ) and he asked me if i could find out more info about it since he doesn't have Internet access.

How does this sub perform , how many RMS can he take , any other info about it.

well it says 250RMS and 1K max. if he gave it 500w or so it would pound quite nice.

I doubt any members have that sub.

Also from what I read on another site was that it isnt very loud in the upper fq range, but was really clean and loud in the lower with 600w
