JBL cs50.4 question

how is this amp for a component amp? i have never owned a jbl product but a friend's brother used them stuff for dj-ing.....i always seemed to hear good things. i heard before that s/n ratio always needed to be above 80 cause anything under 80 was audible and you could hear the distortion. cardomain says its 86 but on jbl website it says 80. does any of that matter and would this be a good component amp? i would be running the amp bridged.....but i think that one was kinda understood(sorry, still got a lot of noob left in me)

thanks

I read a full review on that amp and it said it worked and sounded fine.

Its only weakness is that they complained about was how well it drove midbasses, not because of its quality though its just a small amp.

If you plan on running it with the high pass filter on, it will work fine for your needs.

awesome, thats what i like to hear, cause i kinda was wanting a smaller sized amp than the profile i was looking at....i have a truck and limited space. it will be powering a set of comps that are 150 rms.
