I could be persuaded into something else but I want plenty of midbass/midrange and i would like for them be 6.5" or around that.

That should help you square off competing options for solid midrange. IIRC, the Pioneer Premier TS-series comps came out quite strong on that comparo.

Yeah ive got the room, and if it turns out im a little off, im gonna be building custom speaker mounts anyways so I know how to make it work.

I have considered the 660GTI before but it was way outa my price range. If i can get a good price on them then ill get em.

Keep your eyes on DIYMA. I've seen them go for as low as 400 sometimes.

Wish I could find those Pio Premier TS-series comps, though. Hear they fixed the tweeter issues on that crossover.
