Nice price and it does the wattage I want. 160 watts x 2 + 300 watts x 1 at 4 ohms

Amperage seems not to bad. When they say max of 87amps, they mean at 2 ohm. At 4ohms, it's supposed to be a max of 50amps. This was back from e-mail to JBL...

The warranty for the GTO755.6 II amp is 1 year from the date of purchase. The GTO755.6 II draws a maximum of 87A. I have also listed the specifications for the amp below, which can also be found in the manual.

Its a nice product. Jbl gto products are bullet proof.

I had an JBL Bp600.1 a few years back. It was rated at 600 rms x 2 and that thing was AWESOME. JBL has some good amps.

That amp is good for 600+ watts not 1200

I had one of those and it seems like a great amp for the price. I have a friend who is on team JBL who says that they are nice amps. He told me there is a past World Champ that now uses the GTO amps in his car and another team member and himself listened to the car and says that is sounded good.

I gon't think you will find a better 6 ch amp at the current ebay prices. I payed $240 for mine shipped and now they can be had for about $200 shipped.

Anyone know how their stated wattages compare to bench test results. e.g. Birthsheet numbers?
