JBL amps?

How are JBL amps? The reason is, i'm looking into getting 2 subs and 2 amps. One amp for each sub. The amp i'm looking at is the JBL GTO601.1II http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=235 Are they overrated, underrated or do they put out the power they say they do?

JBL makes some great amps

I've had their BP600.1 and BP1200.1 for years, and they have outlasted anything I've used before. Great AMPs.

dont get an amp for each sub. it will be easier to tune with just one amp, and most likely cheaper. but if you must, get a tone generator and a dmm, and your box must have a a divider seperating two equal chambers.

I've heard really good things about the JBL amps, but I'm curious who makes them for JBL. Crown (I mean CLOWN) makes the amps for the Pro JBL stuff..... SO Hmmmm.....

I am currently running a GTO1201.1II

it has definatley outlasted every amp ive owned except my ZR1000.
