I have the DVC 2ohm Kicker Comp vr subs, witht he jbl have 2 channels which is nice for wiring, what Ohm load would it detect if I had the subs wired for 1 ohm loads? would that find it as a .5ohm loud? I will prob just stick with leaving my subs running at 4ohm load each to give me my 2ohm load, anyone ever have an issues with the JBL Over heating, cutting out etc? just curious..... yeah wire it to 4 ohm per sub so the amp gets a 2 ohm load. It is a mono amp but has 2 seperate terminals to make it easy to wire 2 subs.

You have 2 dvc subs? Or 1? The way I read it sounds like you have 2 so therefore you have 4-2 ohm coils correct? So If you parallel all the coils your amp would see a .5 load. Which I or anybody else for that matter wouldn't recommend with this amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I've been told those mono amps put out the power at 2 ohms as they do at 1 so I say just leave it as is (or get another one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif ) Also I've read about some people having trouble with these amps heating up and cutting out at one ohm but you shouldn't any problems with it wired to 2 ohms. I've got the 1200.1 pushing a hcca 15 at one ohm and I haven't any problems what so ever, of course it's colder then **** where I live right but I'm not sure if that makes any diff.

Yeah i have 2 12" Kicker comp Vr DVC 2ohnm subs, soo yeah I would be just running them at 4ohm each then to give me the 2 ohm load, I 300rms per sub should sound nice //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif, It's it a sealed box with 1.6 cu feet per chamber. I was just playing around hooked up 80 rms to them lol, and it was pretty loud then soo just imaging how 300rms per sub is gonna sound lol

I need a good 4 channel amp! about 50 rms per speakers, I have Kicker K65.2 in the front and kenwood M6930 6*9 in the back.. soo yeah need something to even it all out, can;'t member what does JBL have in a 4 channel?

My Front kicker can do about 75 rms I think it was, but of course crap ola kenwood rates there stuff like 300 watts, but the RMS is like 60 if ur lucky lol

Sure jbl makes 4 ch. amps 80.4 I believe not sure though without looking and I think they also make some bigger ones.

Yeah hard on the wallet is right lol, My buddy is doing a full MBq Quart setup in his car, like 2 6 1/2 componets in the front, 2 in the back as well as 4 inch speakers, 2 12" Mb quart subs, and for some reason a Kenwood centre channel lol, and the new USA AMP TUBE AMPS, just in amps alone he;'s looking 1600$ canadian, then the LCD screen is another 3000$ Cad, then the speakers, he just going nutz on everything , but should sound nice when it;s all in.

I'm not sure but I think thats the only 4 channel amp they make in the power series but that only matters if your big on everything matching.
