Just wondering how the jbl gti mkII stacks up the the mag v3's? I have two 15 "mags and i know of someone with two gti 15's and was thinking about doing a direct trade. Just wondering which subs would sound better and get louder off 1500 watts(750 each). I love how the mags sound and how loud they get but always wanted to try the jbls. Are the jbls superior in every way or vice versa? I know the jbls can take more power but since i only have 1500 watts is the trade worthwhile?

Just do the trade and find out for yourself. What is going to happen is you're going to get a bunch of comments from people who have used one or the other, but not both. And they'll love their experience with said drivers and you'll just get a clusterfuck of a thread. Then two months later a guy who have used both will chime in and by that time you would have forgotten about the thread and went ahead with the trade already.

ive only had the gtis. i have sold a fair amount of the 15s and everyone loves them. i ran 2 and they were great! it honestly is the loudest sub that sounds that clean i have ever heard. you just have to make sure and build your enclosure right. if you build your enclosure wrong you will run into major problems.
