JBL 14001 I just bought off here keeps cutting in and out

Not sure if it's the line out converter or what, the power light stays on, never goes into protect the bass just cuts in and out... No idea what the problem could be... did this ever happen to you @Vecticus ; ?

Tried both left and right RCA inputs, are they both soldered to the same thing? Also happens very erratically, works for a while, stops for a bit, works for awhile again...

I ran the two 10" Rockford T1's (600watts continuous per sub) for hours on end with no issues. Had it wired to a 4ohm load.

Measure the voltage the amp is getting when its playing & see if it's dropping when it cuts out.

^this or possibly a pinched RCA?...did you lightly wiggle the rca's at the inputs to see if it would happen, how about the speaker wires?

One strand of power wire was touching the remote wire. All fixed now reconnected power and covered

It all up with electric tape so it won't happen again. Drove around for 30 min with no problem. Thanks guys.
