so if I have 2 dvc 2 ohm subs and wire them down to a total of 1 ohm then wire it in how many watts am i getting? so i should wire the subs to one ohm each and wire them both up?

it puts out 1200wrms+ at 1 and 2 ohm

i dont think ur understanding what an ohm is. an ohm is resistance. u wire the subs up to a certain amount of ohms. an ohm load. which the amp will handle.

so u have 2 dvc 2ohm subs. they can be wired together for a 2 ohm load. at 2 ohms, the JBL 1200 will put out 1200+ watts

its a 1 channel amp. it has two terminals, but they are still the same channel. If you plug each sub into one terminal, and each sub is wired for 4 ohms, you will be giving the amp a 2 ohm load and get your 1200wrms.

its a 1 channel amp . u just use the left positive and right negative.
