^This is why pro-rabbit is considered one of the most knowledgeable on this forum...and it doesn't all relate to car audio. I have highlighted his points that I had to learn at one point or another. Just ask audioholic or RAM, we've had our pissing matches in the past and sooner or later you learn to simply let it go. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gifHere are a few things to keep in mind on the forum. This will generally help you out.
1. Your thread about spelling/grammar is less then a good thing here. If you search you will see it has been posted several times, yet all though a few of us actually would love for better typing to be in place, it is evident that it won't happen. This also drags every one out to bash on you if you complain about grammar/spelling and that you are also making mistakes. There are several college students and graduates here. So when they want to be, they are actually very intelligent.
2. You did brag about having a following yet know very little. You also made a comment that you do not need to be good at math for physics. Which is obviously wrong. You made various other off the wall comments that would make us think that you know everything or are better then anyone else. Not bashing here, just what I read from your posts.
3. If any one trolls you and you troll back, expect it to go for a while. This is the internet and for many this is a place to blow off steam or kill some time.
4. Just come out and say hey...my bad. Let's move on. This will make things easier and you will see many of the member post differently after that.
5. The last and one of the worse I can see. Pointing fingers and passing judgement to others simply because you are upset. You have done this a few times, and this will make trolling or arguments simply worse. You can not insist that you are taking the "high road" when in fact you just make it worse.
As for SPL, yes Ecrack is right. Trunks are the hardest to make loud. Not to bust you down here but a 146 is not loud really at all. It is decent for a trunk setup though, I will give it that. However, it also depends on the meter and the method for metering.
I have played with just all shape/sizes of vehicles. I found that trunks are not as bad as some say..but that depends on the car. Some SUVs are a pita though.
Most here and every where else fall back on tons of power and cone area to make SPL and they focus less on everything else. Not the best way to go about it and it differently costs the most..but everyone has their own idea on how to achieve a level of "loudness".
And I will be the first to say that RAM is extremely knowledgeable on car audio and audioholic is quite knowledgeable on, well, just about everything. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/boink.gif.91933e72f927f2cefc79aff02573090c.gif
